Runonzi Rudo – Pah Chihera

This is the month of love and I am going to be celebrating it with one of my favourite songs from a local Zimbabwe artist Pah Chihera, it is titled Runonzi Runo.  She sings Afro Jazz.

“Runonzi Rudo tells a story of a girl and a boy who meet in the park and both happen to be listening to the same song through their earphones. Mesmerised by the song, they both fall into a trance, seeing themselves in love and having fun.  The boy, to his great disappointment, later comes to his senses and realises it was all a daydream, to the embarrassment of the girl.”

I hope bloggers from all parts of the world will still enjoy this song all the same, I promise it has a lovely  and fresh rhythm.

This song is just a reminder that love doesn’t care whether you are rich, poor, educated white or black!
